Overview
Technical Urea for AdBlue (AUS 32 / DEF) — High-Purity Urea for Diesel Exhaust Fluid Production
Technical-grade Urea for AdBlue is a high-purity urea used to manufacture AUS 32 / Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), a 32.5% aqueous urea solution that, with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems, converts NOx in diesel exhaust into harmless nitrogen and water. To meet ISO 22241, the urea must have very low levels of biuret, aldehydes and metal impurities (calcium, iron, copper, zinc, nickel) that could poison the SCR catalyst. Benefits include reliable emission compliance (Euro IV/V/VI and equivalent), protection of SCR catalysts, and consistent DEF quality. It is supplied as solid urea for DEF blending or as finished AUS 32 solution, with quality certified by independent inspection at the load point.
